Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of the Voiaj Travels website and our trip-planning service. They're written to be read, not skimmed past — and if anything here is unclear, ask us and we'll explain it in plain words.

What Voiaj Travels is

Voiaj Travels is a bespoke trip-planning service: we help you decide where to go, shape an itinerary around how you like to travel, and — once you've approved a plan — handle the legwork of arranging it. We are planners and organisers; the travel itself (flights, accommodation, transport, activities) is provided by independent travel suppliers.

An inquiry is not a booking

Sending a trip inquiry through this site, emailing us, or calling us does not create a booking, a contract for travel, or any charge. It starts a conversation. Any trip is confirmed with you — in writing, with the details in front of you — before anything is arranged on your behalf. If you never approve a plan, nothing is booked and nothing is owed.

Bookings and travel suppliers

When you approve a plan and arrangements are made, each part of the trip is delivered by the relevant supplier — an airline, hotel, transport company or activity operator — under that supplier's own terms and conditions, including their rules on changes, cancellations and refunds. Those terms govern the travel services themselves; we'll always tell you who the suppliers are for your trip so you can read them.

About the photographs

The photographs on this site are illustrative of destination types — styles of travel we plan — and are not depictions of specific packages, itineraries or things we've promised to include in a trip. They are licensed from Unsplash under the Unsplash License.

Accuracy of information

We keep this site honest and current, but the travel world moves: opening hours, entry requirements, schedules and seasons change. Descriptions on this site are general by design. Anything that matters for a specific trip is confirmed with you as part of your actual plan, not assumed from a web page.

Acceptable use

The inquiry form and our contact details are for genuine travel inquiries. Please don't use them to send spam, automated submissions, unlawful content, or other people's personal information without their permission. We may decline to respond to misuse.

Our responsibility

We take real care over the plans we make, and we'll always try to put things right when something within our control goes wrong. That said, to the extent permitted by law: we are not liable for the acts or omissions of independent travel suppliers, for events outside our reasonable control (such as weather, strikes or schedule changes), or for indirect losses. Nothing in these terms excludes any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Changes to these terms

If we update these terms, the new version will appear on this page with a new “last updated” date. The version posted when you use the site or service is the one that applies.
